Computer crashes while playing Need for Speed Underground 2. I do not have any video card driver installed or a bad one.
I have a process(Need for Speed Underground 2.exe) running as windows defender detects this process is doing a lot of activities but it does not stop it and the game crashes after I close it.
Even if I close the game and launch it again, it is still does not appear and returns to the command prompt without the progress being saved. It does not happen before. I think that my game is not using all of my ram.

I tried to find a no CD patch for NFSU2 and I searched and searched, I mean we all can’t have a CD drive.

Most games can be played without a CD-ROM. I would suggest to use your disk drive like a DVD player, so that you get the same track progress with the game.

While searching for an answer on the internet, I found this method (NFS Underground 2 Patch No CD Disc Required)
When I play the game, I use my USB CD Drive (not DVD Drive) and the
game works fine.
All the installation files are already on the USB
Flash Drive and I just run the game (after I extract the files from
the game installer) and finish the game.
So this is actually exactly what the player says, there is a patch already installed on the USB drive.
You can download the driver from there, the name is seagate (or you can just burn the disc image on your USB drive).
This will fix the problem, but you must remove the hard drive driver when you start playing the game.
